What to do this weekend...

I am going to see the "Pirates of Penzance" at the Carnegie Library Music Hall in Carnegie, this Saturday. It will be the first Pittsburgh Savoyards production in years that I was not actually playing in the show. It will be nice to just sit in the audience again. If you live in the area, you should check out this group. They are one of the best community-theater type organizations around. There is also a show at the Rex Theater on the South Side that sounds cool, "Fester's Freak Show," involving punk bands, tattoos, and a talented fire-dancing chick. I might stop by after "Pirates."
